Quality makes the brand
Ca Mau's OCOP products are diverse, clearly reflecting local strengths: from processed seafood such as dried shrimp, shredded shrimp, shrimp paste... to U Minh Ha cajuput forest honey, shrimp crackers, and bon bon pickles. The whole province currently has 357 OCOP products from 172 entities, including 2 5-star products, 76 4-star products and 279 3-star products. These numbers affirm the serious investment in quality and design of production facilities, while creating a foundation to enhance the brand of Ca Mau agricultural products.

Bringing 5 shrimp products to the Exhibition, Ms. Ta Tuyet Thu (Phong Hiep commune) shared: "I want to promote quality products, so that many people know and enjoy them, not only delicious but also nutritious." That is also the common desire of many OCOP subjects.
Aspiration to improve agricultural products
In addition to the products that have built their brands, the Exhibition is also a source of many new and potential ideas. At the booth of Huong Rung Ecological Agricultural Cooperative (Vinh Hau commune), Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy introduced products from sea purslane - a wild plant growing in her hometown, which she researched and processed into relaxing salt and herbal tea. "I want to make sea purslane a typical product of the province, contributing to helping farmers escape poverty," Ms. Thuy shared, at the same time expressing her hope that the State will pay more attention to supporting communication and development, so that the product can reach further and people's lives will become better day by day.

Sustainable development orientation
To continue its journey, Ca Mau has set clear goals and strategies. Mr. To Hoai Phuong, Director of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment, said: “The province will support entities to upgrade their products from 3 stars to 4-5 stars, and at the same time encourage participation in modern distribution channels such as supermarkets, convenience stores and e-commerce platforms (MadeinCaMau, Voso, Postmart, Lazada).”
Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Tu, a Kieu Hanh dried fruit producer (Chau Thoi commune, Ca Mau province) advises customers on how to process and use the product.
At the same time, the application of digital technology in product quality management and supervision is given special attention, in order to ensure prestige and enhance the OCOP Ca Mau brand.
Ca Mau dried shrimp specialty is promoted using virtual reality (VR) technology.
With the consensus of the government and people, along with increasingly high-quality and unique products, the journey of OCOP Ca Mau is no longer a dream but is gradually becoming a reality, bringing a prosperous life to people and contributing to affirming the position of Vietnamese agricultural products in the market.
