Due to the impact of storm No. 1 (storm Wutip) causing heavy rain in the Central region, Vietnam Airlines had to adjust its operating schedule for two days, June 11-12, to ensure safety.

Specifically, on the evening of June 11 and early morning of June 12, Vietnam Airlines had to cancel 14 flights between Hanoi and Da Nang due to bad weather. In addition, two flights VN7167 and VN7165 from Hanoi to Da Nang had to divert to land at Cam Ranh or return to Hanoi because they did not meet operating conditions at this airport.

At the same time, 7 flights to Da Nang had to wait, causing a chain reaction that caused 32 other flights to be delayed from 20 minutes to 1 hour and 5 minutes. In addition, at Phu Bai airport (Hue), bad weather also affected operations, many flights arriving and departing had to wait or depart late.

In order to respond promptly and ensure the safety of passengers and crew, Vietnam Airlines has proactively adjusted its operating plan. On the afternoon of June 12, the airline plans to increase flights and arrange wide-body aircraft on the Hanoi-Da Nang route to serve affected passengers.

Flight times may continue to be adjusted according to the development of the storm. Updated information will be announced by the airline through the media and contact information in the passenger's reservation record.
