Cho Gao District: Handing over 7 solidarity houses

The houses were handed over to the families, including: Mr. Tran Anh Vinh, residing in Hoa Ninh hamlet, Hoa Tinh commune; Mr. Nguyen Van Bo, residing in My Truong hamlet, My Tinh An commune; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhut, residing in Binh Thuan hamlet, Song Binh commune; Mrs. Tran Kim Phung, residing in Block 2, Zone II, Cho Gao town; Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, residing in Binh Thuy hamlet, An Thanh Thuy commune; Mrs. Bui Thi Xuan Mai, residing in My Thanh hamlet, Hoa Dinh commune; Mr. Le Van Be Ba, residing in Tan Binh 2A hamlet, Tan Thuan Binh commune.

(ABO) On May 16, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cho Gao district ( Tien Giang province) organized a handover ceremony of 7 solidarity houses to poor households and households with difficult housing circumstances supported by Phuong Dong Garment Joint Stock Company and Tex-Giang Joint Stock Company.

Attending the house handover ceremony were comrade Nguyen Hong Huu, Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Cho Gao District People's Council.

Each house has an area of 50 to 105 ^m2 ; of which, Phuong Dong Garment Joint Stock Company and Tex-Giang Joint Stock Company supported 60 million VND for each house through the Fund for the Poor of Cho Gao district, the rest was contributed by families and relatives.

Speaking at the house handover ceremony, comrade Nguyen Hong Huu said that, implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Government , Cho Gao district has so far completed this program in 2025 with 8 houses built and repaired for households eligible for housing support under the Program. Currently, the houses have been handed over and put into use before April 30, 2025.

Currently, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cho Gao district continues to mobilize and receive active support from organizations, individuals, companies, and businesses inside and outside the district to continue supporting localities in building solidarity houses for households with difficult housing circumstances to create motivation for families to strive to stabilize their lives.

The District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to Phuong Dong Garment Joint Stock Company and Tex-Giang Joint Stock Company.

At the house handover ceremony, the People's Committee of Cho Gao district awarded certificates of merit to Phuong Dong Garment Joint Stock Company and Tex-Giang Joint Stock Company for their contributions to the Fund for the Poor and social security work in the district. The People's Committees of communes and towns with households receiving houses presented letters of thanks to the two companies for supporting the locality in building houses for poor households and households with difficult housing conditions.
