Dau Tieng District: Resolutely overcoming difficulties, soon completing key projects

The project to upgrade and expand DT744 road (section from Km24+460 to Cau Cat intersection) is being accelerated.

In 2025, Dau Tieng district will be allocated capital from the province to invest in 6 projects with a total planned capital of more than 186 billion VND; lottery capital will invest in 5 projects with a total capital of nearly 86 billion VND; provincial capital will support the district level to invest in 2 projects with a total capital of more than 164 billion VND; decentralized capital will regulate the investment of 30 projects with a total capital of more than 190 billion VND; and the budget from the urban beautification capital source will be allocated an estimated 100 billion VND. In the first quarter of 2025, the district has disbursed 34 billion VND, reaching nearly 5% of the assigned plan.

Currently, the Dau Tieng District Construction Investment Project Management Board is strengthening management, urging, and reminding construction units of works and projects to speed up progress and complete according to the assigned plan. In addition, the Management Board coordinates with departments, offices, and localities in the district to speed up compensation, site clearance, and remove difficulties in administrative and legal procedures, etc.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Thinh, Deputy Director of the District Construction Investment Project Management Board, said that according to the plan, in 2025, the unit will continue to implement and complete 3 key projects, specifically the project to upgrade and expand DT744 road (from Km24+460 to Cau Cat intersection), the project to upgrade the District Medical Center and the project to upgrade and expand DT749A road through the center of Long Hoa commune. The completion of the project to upgrade the District Medical Center will create a breakthrough in the health sector, meeting the medical examination and treatment needs of people in the district and neighboring areas, while helping people access specialized and in-depth medical services, reducing the burden on upper-level hospitals. For the project to upgrade and expand DT749A road through the center of Long Hoa commune, which is an important provincial road connecting the eastern areas of the district and other localities in the province... The Management Board is strengthening coordination to implement the projects to ensure the completion of the project as planned.

Mr. Nguyen Phuong Linh, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dau Tieng District, emphasized that in order to contribute to the completion of construction progress and disbursement of public investment capital in 2025, the district has quickly implemented solutions since the beginning of the year. The District People's Committee has directed the District Construction Investment Project Management Board to closely coordinate with consulting and supervision units and construction contractors to implement safe construction solutions to ensure project progress. In addition, the District People's Committee has promptly resolved difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing public investment tasks; investment preparation work (establishing, appraising, and approving investment policies) ensures compliance with the provisions of the Law on Public Investment.

Along with that, the work of project preparation, appraisal and approval is carried out in accordance with regulations and progress; the investor selects a consulting unit with sufficient capacity and experience to implement the bidding packages, correctly implements the norms, unit prices, standards, and criteria, in accordance with the planning and socio -economic development plan of the district and the ability to balance public investment capital. Regarding bidding, the locality strictly follows the regulations on procedures in preparing bidding documents, reviewing bidding documents, contributing to improving competitiveness and transparency in bidding; 100% of bidding is carried out online for bidding packages according to regulations, in which many projects have been completed, accepted, and put into use...

To complete the assigned basic construction investment projects, the People's Committee of Dau Tieng district has been directing relevant sectors and localities, focusing on compensation and site clearance to hand over to construction units. Specifically, the district is speeding up the progress and completely resolving compensation and site clearance for projects such as: Upgrading and expanding DT744 road from Km24+460 to Cau Cat intersection and DT749A road through the center of Long Hoa commune; 500kV Duc Hoa - Chon Thanh power line; drainage outside the planning boundary of An Lap Industrial Cluster; relocation of medium and low voltage power grid of Ho Chi Minh road; 110kV Thanh An and An Lap substation lines...
