Quoc Oai district evaluates and classifies 41 OCOP products

In this OCOP product evaluation and classification round, Quoc Oai district has 41 products from 14 entities in the district participating in the evaluation and classification. Of which, 34 products belong to the food product group and 7 products belong to the handicraft product group such as Phuong Thuy vermicelli, Duy Huong fish cake, Thanh Van pepper chicken, Lamori dried seed powder, Dong Tam organic pork, four seasons paintings, scrolls...

Head of the Economic Department of Quoc Oai District Nguyen Thi Thu Trang said that the 41 products participating in the evaluation and classification of OCOP products in this period are all specialties, typical products, and strengths of the district but have not been widely promoted to consumers in the capital. Therefore, the People's Committee of Quoc Oai District hopes that after being classified as OCOP, local products will increasingly have a brand and be consumed stably in the market.

During this period, Quoc Oai district classified and evaluated 41 OCOP products.

The subjects are all concerned with quality, packaging, labeling, traceability, etc. in accordance with regulations. The quality of the basic supporting documents is clearly completed, assessing the organizational situation, production and processing activities of the subjects participating in the program.

Up to now, in Quoc Oai district, there are a total of 135 OCOP products recognized by the city and district. Of which, 59 products are recognized with 3 stars, 76 products are recognized with 4 stars. There are 48 OCOP products whose certification has expired and will be re-evaluated and re-classified by the district in the near future...
