In this OCOP product evaluation and ranking round, Quoc Oai district had 41 products from 14 local businesses participating. Of these, 34 products belonged to the food product group and 7 products belonged to the handicraft group, such as: Phuong Thuy vermicelli, Duy Huong fish cake, Thanh Van chicken marinated in soy sauce and peppercorns, Lamori dried nut flour, Dong Tam organic pork, four-season paintings, scrolls, etc.

According to Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, Head of the Economic Department of Quoc Oai District, the 41 products participating in the OCOP product evaluation and classification this time are all specialty products, characteristic of the district, and strengths of the district, but have not been widely promoted to consumers in Hanoi. Therefore, the People's Committee of Quoc Oai District hopes that after being classified as OCOP products, the local products will increasingly gain brand recognition and enjoy stable consumption in the market.

During this period, Quoc Oai district classified and evaluated 41 OCOP products.

All participants are concerned with quality, packaging, labeling, traceability, etc., in accordance with regulations. The quality of the supporting documentation is generally complete and clear, assessing the organizational structure and production and processing activities of the participating entities.

At the conference, the organizing committee scored the products based on criteria such as: product and community strength; production capacity; environmental protection; product quality, etc.

To date, Quoc Oai district has a total of 135 OCOP products recognized by the city and district. Of these, 59 products have been recognized with 3 stars, and 76 products with 4 stars. 48 OCOP products whose certifications have expired will be re-evaluated and reclassified by the district in the near future…
