Quoc Oai district stops auctioning 26 land lots, returns deposits

(Dan Tri) - Quoc Oai District ( Hanoi City) temporarily suspended the auction of 26 land lots in Tan Phu Commune, previously scheduled to be held on January 18.


National Joint Stock Auction Company No. 5 has just announced the suspension of organizing the auction of the right to use 26 land lots (LK1, LK2) belonging to the project of building technical infrastructure for the land auctioned for the right to use land at DG 31, Yen Quan village, Tan Phu commune, Quoc Oai district (Hanoi).

The announcement stated that this auction was stopped at the request of the People's Committee of Quoc Oai district. The continued organization of the auction will follow the provisions of law and will be publicly announced after the decision of the competent authority.

Customers who have purchased documents and paid a deposit to participate in the 26 lots mentioned above should contact the auction organizer for instructions on the procedure to receive a refund of the documents and deposit paid according to regulations.

According to the previous announcement, Quoc Oai district (Hanoi) plans to organize an auction of the right to use 26 land plots (LK1, LK2) belonging to the project to build technical infrastructure for the land auctioned for land use rights at DG 31, Yen Quan village, Tan Phu commune on January 18.

The plots of land have an area of 85-122m2/plot. The starting price of the plots is 4.7 million VND/m2, equivalent to 400 million VND to more than 573 million VND/plot. The auction is conducted by direct voting in multiple rounds at the auction and a minimum of 6 mandatory rounds. The direct voting in multiple rounds at the auction ends when no one else bids.

Previously, at the end of December 2024, Soc Son district (Hanoi) also postponed the auction of 36 plots in Dong Lai village (Quang Tien commune) scheduled to be held on the morning of December 28, 2024. The reason for postponing the auction was to re-determine the starting price according to Decision No. 71 of the Hanoi People's Committee on regulations and amendments to the price list of land types, effective from December 20, 2025.

Recently, Quoc Oai district organized an auction of the right to use 26 land plots (LK2, LK6 areas) belonging to the project of building technical infrastructure for the land auctioned for land use rights in DG 31, Yen Quan village, Tan Phu commune.

The area of the plots is 73-101.5m2/plot. The starting price is 4.7 million VND/m2, equivalent to 344 million VND to 477 million VND/plot. The common price step applied to the plots and in the auction rounds is 3 million VND/m2. The auction is conducted by direct voting in multiple rounds at the auction and at least through 6 mandatory rounds.

At the end of the auction, the highest winning price of the land plot was 76.7 million VND/m2 and the lowest was 40.7 million VND/m2. The amount of money that Quoc Oai district collected from the land use rights auction this time was nearly 133 billion VND, 121 billion VND higher than the starting price.
