Quoc Oai District halts auction of 26 land plots, returns deposit money.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Quoc Oai District ( Hanoi City) has temporarily suspended the auction of 26 land plots in Tan Phu commune, which was previously scheduled to take place on January 18th.

The National Joint Auction Company No. 5 has just announced the suspension of the auction for the right to use 26 land plots (LK1, LK2) belonging to the project for the construction of technical infrastructure in the land auction area DG 31, Yen Quan village, Tan Phu commune, Quoc Oai district (Hanoi).

The announcement stated that this auction was halted at the request of the People's Committee of Quoc Oai District. The resumption of the auction will be in accordance with the law and will be publicly announced after a decision is made by the competent authority.

Customers who purchased application forms and paid the deposit to participate in the auction for the 26 land plots mentioned above should contact the auction organizer for guidance on the procedures for receiving a refund of the application form fee and deposit paid, as per regulations.

According to a previous announcement, Quoc Oai district (Hanoi City) is expected to hold an auction for the right to use 26 land plots (LK1, LK2 areas) belonging to the project to build technical infrastructure for the land auction area DG 31 in Yen Quan village, Tan Phu commune on January 18th.

The land plots range in size from 85-122 m²/plot. The starting price for each plot is 4.7 million VND/m², equivalent to 400 million VND to over 573 million VND per plot. The auction will be conducted through multiple rounds of direct voting, with a minimum of six mandatory rounds. The multiple rounds of direct voting will end when no one bids further.

Previously, at the end of December 2024, Soc Son district (Hanoi City) also postponed the auction of 36 plots of land in Dong Lai village (Quang Tien commune), which was scheduled to be held on the morning of December 28, 2024. The reason for the postponement was to re-determine the starting price according to Decision No. 71 of the Hanoi City People's Committee on regulations and amendments to the land price list, effective from December 20, 2025.

Recently, Quoc Oai district organized an auction for the right to use 26 plots of land (LK2, LK6 areas) belonging to the project for the construction of technical infrastructure for the land auction area DG 31 in Yen Quan village, Tan Phu commune.

The land plots range in size from 73 to 101.5 m²/plot. The starting price is 4.7 million VND/m², equivalent to 344 million to 477 million VND/plot. The bidding increment for all plots and in all auction rounds is 3 million VND/m². The auction will be conducted through multiple rounds of direct voting, with a minimum of 6 mandatory rounds.

At the end of the auction, the highest winning bid for a plot of land was 76.7 million VND/m2 and the lowest was 40.7 million VND/m2. The amount of money Quoc Oai district collected from this land use rights auction was nearly 133 billion VND, more than 121 billion VND higher than the starting price.
