Yen Khanh district meets advanced new rural standards

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang has just signed Decision No. 551/QD-TTg dated June 21, 2024 recognizing Yen Khanh district ( Ninh Binh province) as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2023.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province to be responsible for announcing and rewarding according to regulations; directed the People's Committee of Yen Khanh district to continue maintaining and improving the quality of criteria, focusing on production and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in new rural construction.

Implementing the program of building advanced new rural areas, in recent times, Yen Khanh district has mobilized the participation of the entire political system and the joint efforts and consensus of the people to complete the criteria; becoming a bright spot of Ninh Binh province in building new rural areas. Up to now, the whole district has 12 communes meeting the standards of advanced new rural areas, including 2 model new rural communes; 186/268 villages and hamlets meeting the standards of model new rural areas, the district has completed 9/9 criteria for building advanced new rural districts, which have been examined and confirmed by the departments and branches of the province according to regulations, 99.75% of people are satisfied with the results of building advanced new rural areas in the area.

The rural appearance has changed significantly and improved; the material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved; the environment and landscape are bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe; urban areas have been increasingly invested in in a modern and civilized direction; cultural, artistic and sports activities have been maintained regularly; cultural institutions at the grassroots level have been strengthened and used effectively; infrastructure has been invested in, upgraded synchronously, interconnectedly and modernly, creating a driving force for development. Yen Khanh district is becoming a livable countryside.
