The upgraded version of the Hyundai Stargazer 2025 compact MPV line was launched with two variants named Cartenz and Cartenz X at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025. This is one of the company's strategic steps in renewing the 7-seat MPV line in the Southeast Asian market.

Accordingly, the new Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz and Cartenz X 2025 have a sturdy and modern design with the front and rear of the car completely redesigned. The interior compartment is also strongly upgraded, with a touch of high-end cars.

The Cartenz measures 4,575 mm long, 1,780 mm wide, 1,695 mm high and has a ground clearance of 185 mm. Meanwhile, the Cartenz X is slightly larger at 4,610 mm long, 1,820 mm wide, 1,740 mm high and has a ground clearance of 190 mm.

Both versions have a wheelbase of 2,780 mm. The exterior of the 2025 HYundai Stargazer MPV has a more solid design than before with many straight lines and boxy motifs. The grille uses many horizontal bars, the front bumper is more aggressive.

The Cartenz X version exudes a more powerful look thanks to the bridge-type roof rails. Full LED lighting system, including Multi Focus Reflector headlights, daytime running lights and LED taillights. New 17-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels.

The interior space is flexibly designed, can carry up to 7 people with a 2-3-2 seat configuration. In addition, if choosing the Captain Seat package, customers will have a second row of seats with 2 separate "captain" style seats, this is an equipment not yet available in Vietnam.

The highest version has a 10.25-inch digital display clock, a 10.25-inch touch screen entertainment screen with 6 Bose speakers and an electronic handbrake with integrated Auto Hold, contributing to completing the comfortable space...

In addition, the Stargazer Cartenz X variant also has a rotary gear lever similar to the SantaFe model in Vietnam, while the Stargazer Cartenz variant still retains the traditional gear lever style.

In terms of operation, both versions are equipped with a 1.5L Smartstream engine, producing 113 horsepower at 6,300 rpm and 143.8 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm, front-wheel drive, optional manual or iVT automatic transmission.

The car is also equipped with the ADAS system with the Hyundai Smart Sense package including features such as blind spot warning, forward collision warning, lane departure warning and lane keeping assist, rear cross traffic warning, adaptive cruise control, adaptive headlights...

The selling price of the 2025 Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz in Indonesia starts at 269.9 million rupiah (equivalent to 433 million VND). Meanwhile, the Cartenz X variant has a starting price of 361.9 million rupiah (equivalent to 580 million VND).

However, this price may be higher when it comes to Vietnam in the near future. Currently, Stargazer in Vietnam is priced from 489 million - 599 million VND, which is considered the most competitive price in the small MPV segment today.
