Historical sites in Long Xuyen

The Ton Duc Thang Memorial Area, located in My Hoa Hung commune, Long Xuyen city, An Giang province, was designated a Special National Monument by the Prime Minister on May 10, 2012.

Here, visitors can not only learn about the life and career of President Ton Duc Thang, but also enjoy the fresh, cool air within the historical site's grounds.

This is a "red address" for traditional education for generations.

At the historical site, visitors can learn about the life and revolutionary career of President Ton Duc Thang through the explanations of the tour guides.

The memorial house of President Ton Duc Thang's childhood has been restored with a three-compartment stilt house architecture typical of Southern Vietnam.

The Ton Duc Thang Memorial Area was classified as a Special National Monument in 2012.

The special plane carrying President Ton Duc Thang arrived in Ho Chi Minh City to attend the rally commemorating the liberation of South Vietnam and the reunification of the country.
