"Nerazzurri" are expected to end their financial year on June 30th with record revenue, in the range of 515 to 520 million euros. This marks the first time Inter has recorded a profit after many consecutive years of losses.

Over the past five years, Inter has faced numerous financial difficulties, beginning with a massive loss of €246 million in the 2020/21 season. This is one of the largest losses in the history of Italian football.

At that time, Inter was also facing penalties for violating financial fair play regulations. Despite this, the club overcame the challenges and gradually improved its financial situation year after year.

In the 2021/22 season, Inter recorded a loss of €140 million, which then decreased to €85 million in the 2022/23 season. By the 2023/24 season, the club's loss had dropped to just €36 million. In the current season, the team is expected to make a profit of €20-25 million. This transformation is not only the result of internal efforts but also thanks to success in the Champions League.

Gazzetta reports that Inter earned nearly 190 million euros from the tournament. 137 million euros was prize money from UEFA, the highest amount ever received by an Italian club in history. In addition, the team earned 50 million euros from ticket sales and sponsorships for reaching the final.

Revenue from Serie A television rights decreased somewhat, from 101 million euros to 82 million euros. However, this loss was offset by significant earnings from the Champions League. Specifically, sponsorships (increased from 80 to 105 million euros) and ticket sales (increased from 70 to 100 million euros) helped Inter's total operating revenue reach a record high of approximately 470-475 million euros.

Qualifying for the FIFA Club World Cup also brought Inter an additional 22 million euros. If the team progresses deep into the tournament and competes for the title, this figure will increase significantly.

From the brink of bankruptcy with losses of hundreds of millions of euros, Inter has gradually recovered, undergone a complete reconstruction, and now possesses the most stable financial situation in the club's history.

Fans went wild after PSG won the Champions League. In the early hours of June 1st, PSG thrashed Inter 5-0. After the match, PSG fans made the Allianz Arena erupt with excitement.
