The Nerazzurri are expected to end the financial year on June 30 with record revenues, between 515 and 520 million euros. This is the first time Inter has recorded a profit after many consecutive years of losses.
Over the past five years, Inter have faced many financial difficulties, starting with a huge loss of up to 246 million euros in the 2020/21 season. This is one of the biggest losses in the history of Italian football.
At that time, Inter also faced a fine for violating financial fair play regulations. However, the club still overcame and gradually improved its financial situation year by year.
In the 2021/22 season, Inter recorded a loss of 140 million euros, which then decreased to 85 million euros in the 2022/23 season. By the 2023/24 season, the club will have lost only 36 million euros. In the current season, the team is expected to make a profit of 20-25 million euros. This transformation is not only the result of internal efforts but also thanks to success in the Champions League.

Gazzetta reported that Inter earned nearly 190 million euros from the tournament. 137 million euros was the prize money from UEFA, the highest amount ever received by an Italian club in history. In addition, the team earned 50 million euros from ticket sales and sponsorship money for participating in the final.
Serie A TV rights revenue fell slightly, from 101 million euros to 82 million euros. However, this loss was offset by a significant income from the Champions League. Specifically, sponsorship (up from 80 to 105 million euros) and ticket sales (up from 70 to 100 million euros) helped Inter's total operating revenue reach a record high, up to around 470-475 million euros.
Participation in the FIFA Club World Cup also brings Inter an additional 22 million euros. If the team goes deep in the tournament and competes for the championship, this figure will increase significantly.
From the brink of bankruptcy with a loss of hundreds of millions of euros, Inter has gradually stood up, completely rebuilt and currently owns the most stable financial foundation in the club's history.
