IPTP Networks Invests $200 Million in AIDC DeCenter Data Center

IPTP Networks, a global telecommunications and infrastructure group, officially launched the AIDC DeCenter Data Center project at Da Nang High-Tech Park.

Telecommunications group PTP Networks held the launching ceremony of the AIDC DeCenter project.

AIDC DeCenter is one of the first AI-Ready data centers in Vietnam, designed according to the Tier 3+/Tier 4 Uptime standard complex model, aiming to become the core infrastructure platform for high performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence (AI), Blockchain and cloud computing services.

AIDC DeCenter Data Center has an area of ​​10,000 m², with a capacity of 1,000 racks, a minimum capacity of 10MW, a total investment of 200 million USD, of which phase 1 is 20 million USD and is expected to start construction on March 29, 2026. AIDC DeCenter has a redundant architecture: N+1, N+2, 2N, ensuring uptime ≥99.982%. Applying the Carrier Neutral model, this AI data center allows cost optimization, creates a healthy competitive environment, reduces the risk of dependence on a single supplier, ensures low latency, and multi-dimensional connectivity.

The project is co-founded and operated by IPTP Networks - a global telecommunications and infrastructure group with over 29 years of experience in the data center industry and ranked in the Top 40 in the world in 2018 (ASRanking) for Internet service providers. IPTP Networks currently owns infrastructure in more than 70 data centers in 66 cities in 37 countries, serving over 5,000 global business customers.

According to forecasts by Mordor Intelligence and GII Research, the Vietnamese data center market will grow from 524.7 MW (2025) to 950.4 MW (2030). The birth of AIDC DeCenter is not only a strategic step to realize the vision of turning Vietnam into a regional data and AI center, but also lays the foundation for the development of the following strategic services: AI Cloud: AI cloud infrastructure for businesses; Human-Centered Audit Platform: transparent AI auditing platform; DePIN & RWA: distributed computing infrastructure network and digitalization of real-world assets.
