In an interview with the IRNA news agency, Pezeshkian emphasized: " We are not seeking instability in the region ," while accusing Israel of being the one fueling instability in the Middle East.

Iran is believed to possess more than 400 kg of uranium enriched to a level that, according to technical assessments, is only a short step away from the threshold for building a nuclear bomb. Israeli officials say this amount of uranium, if further enriched, could be enough to build up to 11 nuclear warheads.
For its part, Tehran has consistently maintained that its nuclear program is entirely for peaceful purposes. However, this assertion seems to contradict reports from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which has warned that Iran's uranium enrichment levels have far exceeded normal civilian needs.
Pezeshkian also emphasized that the Iranian negotiating delegation "is determined not to compromise the honor and pride of the country in any way."
