In an interview with the Russian news agency RIA Novosti, Ebrahim Azizi, head of the National Security Committee of the Iranian Parliament , affirmed that the country currently has no plans to export its enriched uranium.

"Frankly, I don't even understand where the idea for such questions comes from. We have no intention of transferring the enriched uranium to a third country, intermediaries, or anywhere else," Azizi emphasized.
Earlier, on May 21, Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei also issued a directive prohibiting the export or transfer of the country's highly enriched uranium to foreign countries.
Israel, the United States, and other Western nations have long accused Iran of pursuing nuclear weapons development, including enriching uranium to 60% purity—far higher than what is needed for civilian purposes and close to the 90% required for nuclear weapons production. However, Tehran has repeatedly stressed that it has no intention of developing nuclear weapons.
