Real Madrid are considering coaching options as Xabi Alonso is under immense pressure, most recently following the 1-2 defeat to Manchester City in the Champions League.
Spanish media reports indicate that Real Madrid's executives have targeted former player Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid Castilla youth team coach Alvaro Arbeloa.

However, Jurgen Klopp is the number one candidate, although president Florentino Perez and his team will have to spend more time and effort in persuading the German coach.
In his current role as Red Bull's Global Director of Football, Klopp earns £8.7 million per year, overseeing the operations of RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg, New York Red Bulls, Red Bull Bragantino, and Omiya Ardija.
According to Defense Central, a clause in Jurgen Klopp's contract with Red Bull stipulates that he can leave if he receives an offer from the German national team or a top European club.
This means that if Real Madrid successfully convinces the former Liverpool manager, they will not have to pay any compensation to Red Bull.
Since leaving Anfield last summer, Jurgen Klopp has not managed any team. He has also never ruled out the possibility of returning to coaching in the future.
