MU's strange transfer plan

MU prioritizes bringing in a world-class goalkeeper next summer, despite recruiting Senne Lammens on the last day of the transfer window.

Coach Ruben Amorim admitted that MU does not have a number one goalkeeper. Altay Bayindir has started all Premier League matches this season but his performance has been inconsistent. Meanwhile, Andre Onana has been loaned to Trabzonspor, and Lammens has not had a chance to play.

On the list of targets of the "Red Devils", Mike Maignan (AC Milan) is a bright name when the contract expires next year. MU even contacted Maignan's representative, who is also Bryan Mbeumo's manager.

With Fernandes entering the final two years of his contract, investing heavily in a new midfielder and a top-class goalkeeper is considered a key task to rebuild United under Amorim.
