On October 22, Kenya and Angola signed 11 memoranda of understanding aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
The agreements were signed in Nairobi, Kenya, in the presence of Kenyan President William Ruto and his Angolan counterpart Joao Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço.
The agreements aim to strengthen cooperation in areas such as wildlife management and conservation, maritime cooperation, youth development, and agriculture .
Speaking at a joint press conference in Nairobi, President W. Ruto said that the transport ministers of both countries would expedite discussions to resume direct flights between Kenya and Angola.
In addition, Kenya will immediately implement visa exemption for all Angolan citizens to promote trade and travel between the two countries.
