The seminar connecting tourism and travel businesses in the new Lam Dong province aims to discuss opportunities and challenges in the tourism sector after the merger of provincial administrative units, and propose solutions for sustainable tourism development in the future.
On July 2, Lam Dong - Da Lat Tourism Association announced that the association had just organized a seminar to connect tourism and travel businesses in Lam Dong province at Lavender Resort in Da Lat.
Speaking at the seminar, Chairman of Lam Dong-Da Lat Tourism Association Dang Quoc Chinh emphasized the importance of connecting and cooperating among parties in tourism development . Mr. Chinh said that the merger of the three provinces of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong into Lam Dong province has created great opportunities for tourism development. However, along with the large and diverse development space, there are still challenges, so it is necessary to work together to build a comprehensive tourism development strategy, exploiting the maximum potential of each region.
Within the framework of the seminar, many experts, representatives of tourism-travel businesses, managers and related organizations exchanged opinions, shared experiences and proposed solutions to improve the quality of tourism-services, attract tourists and develop typical tourism products, such as developing tourism infrastructure, improving service quality; strategies to promote the tourism image of Lam Dong province and building linked tourism products ...
Many experts and businesses have proposed organizing large-scale cultural, sports and tourism events to attract tourists and create connections between regions.
The seminar took time to listen to opinions from travel businesses about the difficulties they are facing in their operations and the opportunities ahead. In addition, the seminar also mentioned the application of information technology in the management and development of green tourism ; building online platforms to promote tourism, provide information to tourists and facilitate tour and hotel bookings.
Director of Lam Dong Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center Duong Quoc Anh said that this event is an important milestone in the tourism development of the new Lam Dong province. Building a strategy for developing linked tourism will help increase the value of tourism and contribute to promoting local socio-economic development.
