Cooperation connection between Vinh Phuc Provincial Business Association and Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry

Chairwoman of the Provincial Business Association Pham Thi Hong Thuy gave an overview of the formation and development process of the Vinh Phuc Business Association. The Vinh Phuc Business Association was established in 2002, currently has more than 220 members and 4 collective members (Young Entrepreneurs Association, Women Entrepreneurs Association, Provincial Tourism Association; Investment and Startup Club).

Over the years, the Association has performed well its advisory function to the Provincial People's Committee, coordinated with supporting sectors, assisted businesses in the province and organized activities aimed at businesses, coordinated with VCCI to provide training to update knowledge, policies, and experience in business leadership, connect businesses, especially private sector businesses and small and medium enterprises, and actively develop members...

Regarding the business investment environment in Vinh Phuc , the province has issued many support policies and mechanisms to attract investment, especially foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises. Up to now, the province has 17 industrial parks and 16 industrial clusters with a total area of over 3,300 hectares, of which 9 industrial parks have been put into operation, attracting more than 17,000 registered enterprises, creating jobs for more than 250,000 workers. Every year, enterprises contribute more than 80% of the province's budget revenue.

Accumulated to May 15, 2025, the province has 1,329 projects, including 487 FDI projects with a total investment capital of more than 8.62 billion USD, 842 DDI projects with a total investment capital of nearly 148 trillion VND.

In the first quarter of 2025, revenue from FDI projects reached 3.29 billion USD, up 13% over the same period; export value reached nearly 2.84 billion USD, up 15% over the same period; State budget contribution was more than 2,104 billion VND, up 24% over the same period. Revenue from DDI projects reached nearly 3,985 billion VND, up 22% over the same period; budget contribution was 237 billion VND, up 72% over the same period.

At the conference, delegates discussed and exchanged experiences in production and business activities and connections between enterprises in the Provincial Business Association and VCCI - Northern Coastal Branch.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phi Trong Duc, acting director of VCCI - Northern Coastal Branch, highly appreciated the role and performance of Vinh Phuc Business Association, which clearly demonstrated the relationship with VCCI and its role as an effective bridge between businesses in the province and the region, creating favorable conditions for businesses, especially private sector businesses and small and medium enterprises to develop.

The operational experience of Vinh Phuc Business Association and the success in attracting investment in Vinh Phuc will be shared in VCCI. At the same time, we hope that the cooperation between VCCI Vietnam in general and VCCI - Northern Coastal Branch in particular will become increasingly effective.
