"Morning Tea with Entrepreneurs" in May 2026, with the theme "Green Agriculture and Tourism Development Orientation in Thai Nguyen Province".
In an open space rich in tea culture, the program began with an elegant tea-opening ceremony – a characteristic feature of the renowned tea-producing region of Thai Nguyen, creating a highlight that blends culture and green development thinking. From the first cups of tea of the day, the program moved on to a discussion of two important pillars: green agriculture and sustainable tourism development.

Beginning the discussion, the program outlined the development potential of Thai Nguyen – a strategic gateway connecting Hanoi with the Northern Midlands and mountainous regions. With over 837,000 hectares, of which agriculture accounts for over 90%, the province is promoting ecological, circular, and organic agriculture linked to green growth. Thai Nguyen aims to welcome approximately 12 million tourists by 2030, generating over 25,000 billion VND in tourism revenue, and gradually developing tourism into a key economic sector.

Based on that, the province focuses on developing key tourist areas such as Nui Coc Lake and Ba Be Lake; at the same time, it promotes community tourism and agricultural tourism associated with tea culture, forming a chain of agricultural - ecological - cultural experiences with four main products: tea tourism, cultural - historical - spiritual tourism, MICE tourism, and adventure sports tourism.
Developing green agriculture in conjunction with tourism is a major orientation for Thai Nguyen, receiving strong support from the Party committee, government, and business community. These two sectors are closely related, supporting each other, and working together towards the goal of sustainable and efficient development.

Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province, delivered a speech at the program.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized: Thai Nguyen has the advantage of being close to Hanoi, rich in resources and culture, making it favorable for developing tourism associated with experiential agriculture. The province is continuing to refine its planning, improve the investment environment, attract strategic investors, and work alongside businesses, aiming for sustainable development and enhancing the local brand.
According to Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province, based on practical experience, Thai Nguyen province needs to approach tourism development by linking it with high-value agriculture, instead of developing each sector separately. The goal is to create a sustainable brand and added value. High-tech agriculture does not automatically create high value, but high-value agriculture must include clean agriculture, green agriculture, and the application of high technology. This is the inevitable direction to improve efficiency and achieve sustainable development.

Representatives from businesses, cooperatives, and experts in the agricultural sector spoke at the program.
During the exchange, representatives from businesses and cooperatives shared many practical insights. The development of green agriculture linked to tourism is opening up great opportunities, but challenges remain regarding infrastructure, planning, and land. Experiential models focusing on tea plantations and tea culture are initially attracting tourists, but further support mechanisms are needed for stable, long-term development.
In particular, during the discussion, delegates paid great attention to linking development content with the 2026 Thai Nguyen Tourism Season "Lake on the Mountain - Tea in the Clouds". Currently, Thai Nguyen tourism is shifting strongly from sightseeing to experiential tourism with products such as tea tourism, Nui Coc Lake, Ba Be Lake, traditional craft villages, and tea culture spaces. However, tourism needs to continue improving service quality, increasing regional linkages, and developing products with cultural depth to retain tourists.

Leaders of provincial departments and agencies gave speeches and exchanged views at the program.
At this year's "Morning Tea with Entrepreneurs" program, opinions and suggestions were frankly exchanged, and provincial leaders and departments clarified the direction. This highlighted a key focus of the program: green agriculture is not just about safe production, but is becoming the foundation for a new development ecosystem, linking agriculture, tourism, and tea culture, creating sustainable added value for Thai Nguyen.
"Morning Tea with Businesspeople" is not just a morning meeting, but is gradually becoming an open policy dialogue space for Thai Nguyen province. With each event, the program contributes to spreading the spirit of innovation, promoting green development, and affirming the determination to make Thai Nguyen a shining example of sustainable development in the region.
