DNO - On the morning of August 29th, within the framework of the Da Nang City Innovation and Entrepreneurship Festival - SURF 2024, a workshop titled "Connecting the Innovation Spaces of Da Nang and Seoul" was held. This activity aimed to connect and discuss the development of innovation spaces between Da Nang and Seoul (South Korea), contributing to promoting international cooperation in the fields of entrepreneurship and technology.

According to the Department of Science and Technology, the Da Nang - Seoul Innovation and Startup Space was launched in August 2023. This is an important activity in connecting the startup ecosystems between Da Nang and Seoul.
The initial step involves establishing high-quality human resource training programs in the field of artificial intelligence, and providing a shared workspace for partners from both sides.
At the Da Nang - Seoul Innovation and Startup Space, some of the first businesses in Da Nang have had the opportunity to directly access leading partners and investment funds in South Korea.
This place not only serves as a bridge for Da Nang businesses to expand their reach, but also as an attractive destination for Korean businesses.
The presence of Korean businesses in Da Nang and vice versa not only contributes to creating a diverse and rich startup ecosystem, the source of groundbreaking ideas and promising collaborative projects, but also contributes to sustainable development and strengthens the cooperative and friendly relationship between Da Nang and Seoul.

The workshop provided an opportunity to assess the achievements of the cooperation between the two cities, and to discuss effective solutions and directions for the future development of the Da Nang - Seoul innovation space.
