
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Le Van Anh, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hue City, emphasized that the locality currently has many favorable conditions to develop a variety of typical agricultural products, such as: Thuy Bieu pomelo, Hue Royal Tea, Loc Thuy cajuput essential oil, Hue shrimp paste, etc.

Up to now, Hue City has more than 100 OCOP products that have been certified; of which, there is 1 OCOP product with 5-star rating and dozens of products that meet advanced standards of VietGAP, ISO, HACCP...
This conference not only introduces the potential and strengths of agricultural products of the two localities, but also provides a forum to connect businesses, cooperatives, and producers with the product distribution and consumption system.

At the same time, discuss solutions to promote the application of high technology, digital transformation in agriculture, and develop typical agricultural products in the coming time.
By the end of July 2025, Lam Dong province has 88 4-star OCOP products (of which 7 4-star products are being upgraded to 5-star); 846 3-star products.

Typical OCOP products include: Artichoke extract, Premium Artichoke tea bags, Ngoc Duy Artichoke soft extract; Vinh Tien Artichoke soft extract, Vinh Tien specialty Artichoke tea bags; Frozen spinach, Frozen sweet potatoes; Fresh vegetables, tubers, and fruits produced using high technology and smart agriculture such as fruit peppers, cherry tomatoes, durian, dragon fruit, avocado...

At the Conference, the two localities agreed to coordinate in providing information on consumer markets, distribution facilities of key products and creating conditions for Lam Dong suppliers to access the distribution system to meet actual needs.
Businesses of the two localities will proactively connect and promote agricultural products, especially connecting products consumed in the supermarket system in Hue City such as: Aeon, Co.opmart, Big C, Bach Hoa Xanh and businesses specializing in distributing food to schools, restaurants, collective kitchens...

Enterprises and cooperatives producing and processing agricultural products in Lam Dong province commit to providing quality products and ensuring food safety in specific consumption contracts. At the same time, they must improve their capacity and have appropriate production and business plans to exchange long-term cooperation and develop sustainably in the following years...
