Keysight provides software and cybersecurity testing services for automobiles.

Issued by the World Forum for Harmonization of Regulations on Motor Vehicles (WP.29), UNECE Regulations R155 and R156 set out software update and cybersecurity requirements to enhance the safety and security of automotive systems. UN R155 sets out cybersecurity requirements for car manufacturers and applies to specific vehicle types at all stages of development, production, and post-production.

Keysight is designated as a technical service provider for assessing compliance with automotive software and cybersecurity regulations.

UN R156 specifies software update requirements for car manufacturers and applies only to specific vehicle types in the post-production phase, excluding the development and production phases.

Upon approval, Riscure Security Solutions can proceed with vehicle conformity certification under UNECE WP.29, a requirement for all new vehicles manufactured starting in July 2024 for all UNECE countries. RWD certifies compliance with UN R155 and UN R156 regulations for vehicles in all 27 European Union countries and 37 countries worldwide, including Australia, Japan, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.
