The role-playing soldiers face many challenges: physical training, learning how to use modern weapons, real combat and participating in unexpected missions. All are unscripted, so the reactions of the role-playing soldiers are realistic, and there are also accidents, injuries, strict discipline and unexpected rewards. All bring viewers vivid images of the combat journey, the dangerous missions of police soldiers in many situations.
“Brave Soldier” is the first action role-playing television program in Vietnam that exploits the theme of the People's Police, inspired by true stories, selected and adapted from the archives of the Ministry of Public Security . Accordingly, the role-playing soldiers must undergo special training hours in the armed forces environment, practice special operations and must commit themselves as a real soldier.
The program attracts viewers and is highly appreciated for its authenticity, vividly depicting the image of soldiers who are willing to sacrifice to protect the people and maintain national order and security. Accordingly, the soldiers play their roles and go through many unexpected situations: fire fighting, rescuing people in narrow spaces, rescuing people trapped in bus accidents, rescuing people trapped at the bottom of the deep, rescuing hostages... All of these situations are not only challenges but also a journey to train discipline, courage and real reflexes. Through that, viewers understand better why the armed police forces always require high discipline and precision in every action.
Specifically, in the actual firefighting and rescue operations in a confined space, Phan Manh Quynh and MONO both made technical errors in the use of protective equipment, leading to suffocation. Phan Manh Quynh shared in the program: “The smoke was in my throat and I felt like I was in another world . This job was so terrible and hard.” This is just a small part of the daily work of Fire Prevention and Fighting - Rescue soldiers, but it shows the real hardship and danger.
When experiencing training and combat, Tien Luat said: “I have to use the word extraordinary. It is a silent job, with many sacrifices”. Although it is just a hypothetical situation, viewers can feel the harshness and danger of the above forces. For example, when Lien Binh Phat had an accident and had to get two stitches on his finger in a rescue situation.
The attraction of “Brave Soldiers” is also the sharing and informing viewers about fire prevention and fighting, protecting themselves from dangerous situations… At the same time, viewers also see the silent sacrifices and emotions of the soldiers through sharing stories about life, about their daily work, about fallen comrades, about the pain of not being able to save the victims…
