From this afternoon (October 2), gasoline prices increased simultaneously.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance have just decided on the retail price of gasoline from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (October 2). Accordingly, gasoline prices have increased simultaneously. Gasoline prices increased by 6 - 44 VND/liter; oil prices increased by 161 - 380 VND/liter.

From 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (October 2), specific gasoline prices are as follows:

- E5RON92 gasoline: No higher than VND 19,624/liter (increase of VND 6/liter compared to the current base price), lower than RON95-III gasoline by VND 585/liter;

- RON95-III gasoline: Not higher than VND 20,209/liter (an increase of VND 44/liter compared to the current base price);

- Diesel 0.05S: Not higher than VND 19,038/liter (increase of VND 380/liter compared to the current base price);

- Kerosene: Not higher than VND 19,005/liter (an increase of VND 377/liter compared to the current base price);

- Mazut oil 180 CST 3.5S: Not higher than VND 15,370/kg (increase of VND 161/kg compared to the current base price).

In this operating period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and fuel oil.

The world oil market in this operating period is affected by main factors such as: OPEC+ increased oil production in October and is expected to continue to increase in November; the US government stopped many activities; US crude oil inventories increased; the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, Ukraine increased attacks on Russian energy facilities... The above factors have caused world oil prices in recent days to fluctuate up and down depending on each product.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on September 25 and today is: 78.716 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline; 80.688 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline; 89.386 USD/barrel of kerosene; 89.968 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil; 411.796 USD/ton of 180 CST 3.5S fuel oil.

Since the beginning of 2025, domestic gasoline prices have undergone 37 adjustment sessions, including 15 decrease sessions, 17 increase sessions and 5 opposite sessions.
