Kim Lien Ward: Spreading the spirit from activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day

HNP- On October 2, Kim Lien ward held a conference to summarize the organization of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of Kim Lien Ward People's Committee Truong Minh Quang affirmed that although it was not the location to hold a national event, Kim Lien Ward had fully completed the assigned tasks, leaving many strong impressions in many fields. On this occasion, the whole ward mobilized more than 500 people to participate in general environmental cleaning, eliminating 5 "black spots" of waste, handling 63 cases of administrative violations, and removing 114 illegal advertising signs. The functional forces were on duty 24/24, maintaining security, order and absolute safety in the area.

Party Secretary, Chairwoman of Kim Lien Ward People's Council Hoang Thi Phuong Ngoc and Chairwoman of Kim Lien Ward People's Committee Le Kim Hue commended collectives with outstanding achievements.

The ward also focused on visual propaganda and agitation with the installation and operation of more than 10 LED screens; at the same time successfully organized cultural and artistic programs, including the program "80 years - Radiant Country" attracting over 1,000 people to attend.

Regarding gratitude activities, the ward organized two delegations to visit veteran revolutionary cadres; organized a meeting to express gratitude to 156 meritorious people and relatives of martyrs. The total budget for subsidy payments in August reached more than 2.23 billion VND for 798 cases, in addition, the ward also gave 156 gifts worth 78 million VND.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Kim Lien Ward Party Committee Vo Hong Vinh commended individuals with outstanding achievements.

In particular, to implement the major policy of the Party, the State and the City on giving gifts directly to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, Kim Lien Ward mobilized all ward officials, despite the holiday, to concentrate highly. Thanks to the application of population data from the Ministry of Public Security software combined with actual verification, the ward was able to create an accurate and public list. As of September 15, the ward had paid for 91,036/98,776 cases, reaching a rate of 92.16%, with a total cost of more than 9.1 billion VND. This success demonstrates the spirit of "being close to the people", and at the same time affirms the effectiveness of population management and the solidarity of the entire ward political system.

With the outstanding results achieved, Kim Lien Ward was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee for its outstanding achievements in implementing commemorative activities. At the conference, the ward also commended 14 groups and 134 individuals for their outstanding contributions in organizing activities to celebrate National Day September 2.
