After nearly 20 years, school-themed dramas are returning to prime time on VTV3.

From September 4th to 9th, television viewers will be able to enjoy the new series from the Vietnam Television Film Production Center titled "One Millimeter Away From You," which will air on VTV3 every Thursday and Friday evening.

A notable highlight of the series is the appearance of a talented cast of child actors, who, in their first long-running project, impressed viewers with their natural and emotionally rich performances.

Audiences will meet Thuc Phuong (playing Tu as a child), Gia Long (playing Bach), Minh Xiu (playing Duc), Duc Phong (playing Bien), Quynh Trang (playing Ngan), Son Tung (playing Vien), along with many other faces such as Tan Anh, Gia Bao, Khanh Chi… These young faces contribute to vividly recreating a childhood that is innocent, mischievous, but also full of love and sharing.

The film's plot revolves around the close friendship of a group of children in Cloud Village, where Tú, Bách, Đức, Thư, Biên, and Quyên build their "headquarters" to explore their own world . Their games, innocent "battles," and pure feelings gradually grow stronger over the years.

Interwoven within this story are the first stirrings of love between Vien and Ngan, leaving behind unforgettable memories. However, an unexpected event separated the group of friends, turning their vibrant childhood into a distant memory. Twenty years later, as adults, they coincidentally return to their hometown, confronting old secrets and rediscovering a friendship that seemed to have been dormant.

The film features many heartwarming stories about school life.

Beyond just childhood memories, "One Millimeter Away From You" also portrays the journey of growing up, as the characters reunite after more than 20 years and confront their past memories and secrets. In this phase, familiar adult actors such as Minh Huyền, Hà Việt Dũng, Huỳnh Anh, Trọng Lân, Quỳnh Châu… will continue the story, bringing profound emotional depth.

Directed by Pham Gia Phuong and Tran Trong Khoi, the film not only portrays a lifelong friendship but also brings a fresh perspective to the family and romance genre. "One Millimeter Away From You" is considered a surprising return of the Vietnam Television Film Production Center to the school-age film genre, nearly 20 years after "Special Task Force C21" .
