In late October and November of this year, localities in the region from Ha Tinh to Lam Dong experienced successive natural disasters, with "floods upon floods, storms upon storms," landslides, and historic flooding, causing enormous damage to people, property, and homes, seriously affecting the lives of the people. Specifically, according to a report compiled by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the historic floods from November 16th to 22nd, 2025, in Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, and Lam Dong provinces resulted in the complete collapse of 963 houses, damage to 3,390 houses, and estimated total economic losses of over 16,000 billion VND.
To urgently rebuild and repair houses for families whose homes were damaged in the recent natural disasters, ensuring that all citizens have homes to worship their ancestors and celebrate the Lunar New Year and the New Year 2026, the Prime Minister requests the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and cities from Ha Tinh to Lam Dong, with a focus on the provinces of Dak Lak , Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, and Lam Dong: To organize the development of specific plans, launch and immediately implement the "Quang Trung Campaign" on December 1, 2025, to mobilize all resources and rapidly rebuild and repair houses for families whose homes were destroyed, swept away, or damaged during the recent historic storms and floods in the Central region.

In Ha Tinh province, the local authorities reported no houses were destroyed or damaged by the storm and floods.
Currently, localities affected by the recent storms and floods are focusing on implementing the "Quang Trung Campaign" to support people in rebuilding and repairing their homes after the storms and floods. However, according to reports from localities, in Gia Lai and Dak Lak provinces, the number of houses still needing repair and reconstruction is very large. Therefore, concentrated leadership and guidance from Party committees and authorities, great efforts from the people, and maximum support from the army and police forces are needed to complete the plan.
