Forecast for the day and night of December 6, the North East Sea area, including the Hoang Sa sea area, will continue to maintain strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9. Rough seas, large waves are dangerous for ships.

In the central East Sea, the sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau and the southwest of the East Sea (including the sea area west of Truong Sa), strong northeast wind at level 6, gusting to level 7-8; rough sea, waves 3-5 m high. The sea area from South Quang Tri to Quang Ngai during the day has northeast wind at level 5, sometimes at level 6, gusting to level 7, rough sea with waves 2-4 m high; at night the wind gradually decreases.

Also on the day and night of December 6, the sea area from South Quang Tri to Quang Ngai will have scattered rain along the coast; the southern area of ​​the South East Sea (including the sea area south of the Truong Sa sea area) and the southern Gulf of Thailand will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a high risk of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind of level 6-7.

The meteorological agency warned that all vessels operating in the above-mentioned sea areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and large waves; coastal localities and fishermen need to closely monitor forecasts, proactively prevent and ensure safety.
