The conference was held live and connected online with 34 locations in provinces and cities across the country.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Women's Union emphasized: After 15 years of implementation, the Campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's" has become a widespread movement, spreading strongly in the community.
During the 2010-2020 period, over 90,000 poor households headed by women escaped poverty; tens of thousands of self-managed roads and the "5 no, 3 clean" model were formed, contributing to creating changes and affirming the role of women in building new rural areas...
In the 2021-2025 period, 18,000 projects and tasks registered to participate in new rural construction have been completed; over 10,000 environmental protection models have been born; millions of women have received social security support and access to health insurance;...
The Vietnam Women's Union has also effectively implemented Project 938 on propaganda, education , mobilization, and support for women to participate in solving a number of social issues related to women. Up to now, there have been over 2,300 trusted addresses, over 5,000 parenting education models, and over 2,000 "Leaders of Change" clubs... established and maintained by all levels of the union. In particular, the "Godmother" Program has over 50,000 direct and indirect godmothers supporting over 37,000 orphans.
At the conference, groups and advanced models exchanged many good experiences in implementing the Campaign "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean" associated with building new rural areas in the locality; shared stories spreading humanistic values in the community...
The Vietnam Women's Union honored 84 typical collectives and individuals in implementing the "5 no, 3 clean" Campaign and the "Godmother" Program. Of which, Can Tho City has 3 collectives and individuals honored, including: Women's Union of Hamlet C2, Thach An Commune; Ms. Nguyen Thi Diem, Specialist of the Office of the Party Committee of Hoa Luu Commune; Lieutenant Colonel Bui Thi Canh, Deputy Head of the Police of Thuan Hoa Commune.
