Thang Dien Commune Women's Union organizes the program "Godmother"

On the morning of September 3, the Women's Union of Thang Dien commune organized the "Godmother" program to support orphans to have the conditions to go to school in the 2025-2026 school year.

Accordingly, the Women's Union of Thang Dien commune awarded 34 gifts including cash to disadvantaged students; of which 22 students are in the "Godmother" program implemented by the Women's Union of Thang Dien commune for many years.

In addition, on this occasion, the Commune Women's Union also mobilized representatives of AIA Quang Nam Corporation Office and Minh Tam Stationery to present gifts including school bags and notebooks to 34 children.

The total value of the two programs is more than 15 million VND, drawn from the Women's Union of Thang Dien commune's fund and mobilized from the two above units.

Up to this point, through a survey of the entire Thang Dien commune, there are 34 orphans and children in difficult circumstances; of which the Commune Women's Union has called on benefactors to sponsor 22 children with an amount of 200 - 500 thousand VND/month/child.

On the occasion of the new school year 2025 - 2026, Thang Dien commune mobilized to give 55 tablets to students; 5 bicycles to students and many other valuable gifts to help disadvantaged students of the commune feel secure going to school.
