Deeply aware of that role, over the past time, the Provincial Women's Union (VWU) has constantly innovated its content and methods of operation, accompanied and supported, creating conditions for women to improve their knowledge and skills, confidently develop their economy, actively participate in building a prosperous, equal, progressive and happy family, contributing to the sustainable development of the country.

Her husband passed away and she no longer had any support, Ms. Tran Thi Lu, Hau village, Bac Tien Hung commune, worked hard day and night to cultivate more than 1 acre of rice field, raise 500 Egyptian egg-laying chickens, 20 rabbits, grow grapefruit and cassava to raise her children to adulthood. The family's total income is over 100 million VND/year. Thanks to bold economic development, Ms. Lu has had money to send her children to school, build a spacious house with full modern amenities to serve her life.

Ms. Lu shared: "In the near future, I plan to invest in expanding the chicken coop area to increase my family's income. I think building a happy family or developing the economy are both important. These two issues complement each other.

Therefore, modern women not only need to promote the virtues of diligence and responsibility but also need to be proactive and creative. With the will to rise up and the spirit of daring to think and dare to do, Ms. Hoang Thi Luong, Chau Ninh commune has become one of the typical women in developing the household economy. From a few acres of land for planting seedlings at the beginning, she has now expanded production to more than 7 acres, supplying the market with tens of thousands of seedlings each year, bringing in an income of 500 - 700 million VND, creating jobs for many local workers.

The products are trusted by customers, the market is increasingly expanding, creating favorable conditions for Ms. Luong to take better care of her family, her children can study well, the house is spacious, the family is warmer and happier. Not only are they good at economics, Ms. Lu and Ms. Luong also actively participate in emulation movements, willing to share seedlings and experiences with disadvantaged households in the village, together developing the economy, improving the quality of life. They are living proof of the image of modern women who are both economic masters and preserve the family home with their own determination and loving hearts.

Women are increasingly aware of their role in the family and society. Many women have been actively participating in social activities and work, contributing to improving the life and economy of their families as well as contributing to the development of the locality. According to comrade Vu Hong Luyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union: The unions at all levels have strengthened innovation in the method of directing and implementing the work of mobilizing and supporting women to build prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized families in association with the implementation of the emulation movement "Building Hung Yen women with knowledge, morality, health, responsibility for family and society"; the campaign "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean"; supporting women in economic development, mobilizing women to practice moral qualities: Confidence, self-respect, loyalty, responsibility... with many rich and creative forms, suitable to local conditions. From 2020 to now, the association at all levels has built and repaired 278 charity houses with a mobilized amount of more than 12 billion VND and hundreds of working days.

With the "Godmother" program, all levels of the association have mobilized cadres, members, organizations and individuals to respond and connect to support the care and nurturing of 2,017 orphans in difficult circumstances with a support level of 500,000 VND/month/child. In the journey of cultivating happiness and sustainable development, the Provincial Women's Union continues to play an important role in inspiring, supporting and guiding women to develop comprehensively. To continue to promote that role, it is necessary to have the cooperation of all levels, sectors, families and the whole society in creating more favorable conditions for women to assert themselves and contribute more to the community.
