Kinhtedothi - More than 230 Russian tourists have returned to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa by direct flight after a long period of disruption.
On the afternoon of March 17th, flight ZF2577 carrying 231 passengers from Russia, operated by Azu Air LLC, landed at Cam Ranh International Airport at 3:30 PM.
This flight departed from Irkutsk International Airport, Russia at 8:15 AM (local time) and was also the first charter flight bringing Russian tourists to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa after a long period of interruption due to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
On this occasion, to impress Russian tourists and to demonstrate the hospitality and friendliness of the people of Khanh Hoa, the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with Anex Vietnam Trading and Tourism Company Limited and other relevant agencies and units, organized a welcoming ceremony for flight ZF2577.

Anex Vietnam Trading and Tourism Company Limited is expected to officially resume charter flights connecting 11 Russian cities to Cam Ranh International Airport with an anticipated frequency of 12 flights in March 2025, approximately 50-55 flights per month from April to June 2025, and around 90-100 flights in July 2025.
Russian tourists typically stay for 5 nights or more, mainly in 3-5 star hotels, and participate in all-inclusive tour packages visiting popular tourist attractions in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, in the first three months of 2025, the Department proactively and effectively implemented tasks to accelerate the recovery and development of tourism.
Specifically, in the first quarter of 2025, the total number of visitors served by tourism accommodation establishments is estimated to reach over 2.5 million, an increase of 19.69% compared to the same period in 2024. Of these, international visitors are estimated to reach over 1.3 million, an increase of 12.54% compared to the same period in 2024; and domestic visitors are estimated to reach over 1.2 million, an increase of 28.93% compared to the same period in 2024.
