Unlocking the tourism potential of Quang Ngai's coastal and island areas.

From May 30th to June 28th, the Quang Ngai Sea and Island Tourism Festival 2026 will officially take place with a series of unique cultural, sports, and tourism events.

Organized with an "open festival space" concept, the Quang Ngai Sea and Island Tourism Festival creates a harmonious connection between three regions: the sea and islands, the plains, and the mountainous areas. Through this, the organizers hope to strongly promote the image of a friendly, hospitable Quang Ngai with rich cultural identity; while simultaneously stimulating tourism, attracting investment, and gradually positioning the brand of the homeland's sea and island tourism on the Vietnamese tourism map.

The highlight of the series of events is the art program themed "Quang Ngai - A Symphony of the Sea and Islands," which will open at 8 PM on May 30th at Pham Van Dong Square, Cam Thanh Ward. With large-scale investment and the participation of hundreds of artists and performers, the program combines traditional art with modern performance technology. It will vividly recreate the journey from the frontier islands, the culture of Hoang Sa, coastal fishing villages, to the aspirations for maritime exploration, integration, and development of Quang Ngai today.

Continuing that atmosphere, throughout the month-long festival, locals and tourists will be immersed in a rich street culture and art scene. These include the Quang Ngai Island Carnival Street Fashion and Music Festival, the Quang Ngai Artistic Kite Flying Show, and the Enchanting Lantern Festival in the Coconut Forest.

Besides the performances, the festival also features an exhibition space showcasing cultural heritage, marine and island heritage, OCOP products and tourism souvenirs, along with the Quang Ngai Tourism Promotion Conference 2026 to seek solutions for sustainable development.

The festival also features a series of exciting and dramatic sporting events taking place on the province's islands and seas. Visitors who enjoy adventure will have the opportunity to watch the 2026 Vietnam SUP Paddling Festival and the 2026 Ly Son Cross Island Swimming Race.

At the same time, the spirit of chivalry and the cultural beauty of the coastal region are also clearly demonstrated through the Quang Ngai Traditional Sea Boat Racing Festival, the Quang Ngai Provincial Traditional Boat Racing Tournament, and the Ly Son - Following the Footsteps of the Frontline 2026 Cross-Country Race.

The Quang Ngai Sea and Island Tourism Festival 2026 plays a strategic role in promoting, advertising, connecting investment, and inspiring development for the entire province in the new phase. Through this series of large-scale events, Quang Ngai aims to introduce to domestic and international tourists a dynamic land rich in identity, possessing a unique "forest - sea - island" tourism space with great potential and ready to break through and reach further.
