DNVN - The "Digital Integrated Circuit Design Training Program" is part of the implementation of the "Human Resource Development for the Semiconductor Industry until 2030, with a vision to 2050" project. The program aims to train human resources and promote the semiconductor industry.

On the morning of February 17th, the National Innovation Center (NIC) - Ministry of Planning and Investment , Dolphin Technology Vietnam Center Co., Ltd., Cadence Group, and Hanoi University of Science and Technology jointly organized the opening ceremony of the “Digital Integrated Circuit Design Training Program”. This is a particularly significant event, marking an important step in building and developing high-quality human resources for Vietnam's semiconductor industry.

The "Digital Integrated Circuit Design Training Program" is part of the implementation of the "Human Resource Development for the Semiconductor Industry Project until 2030, with a vision to 2050".

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Vu Quoc Huy, Director of the NIC Center, said that NIC will continue to cooperate with technology corporations, enterprises, and universities to promote programs aimed at connecting and fostering training to improve the quality of human resources. He also expressed confidence that Vietnam's goal of training 50,000 engineers and bachelors for the semiconductor industry, including 15,000 design engineers, will soon be achieved and meet the semiconductor workforce needs both domestically and internationally by 2030.

Mr. Vu Quoc Huy, Director of the NIC Center, expressed his confidence in Vietnam's goal of training 50,000 engineers and graduates for the semiconductor industry.

“This training course is an important first step in meeting the urgent needs of the market. The course is designed to provide students with the foundational knowledge of integrated circuit design, practical skills, and creative thinking necessary to work in this field,” Mr. Huy said.

According to Mr. Le Hai Anh, Director of Dolphin Technology Vietnam, the demand for integrated circuit design in Vietnam is currently increasing rapidly, but the supply of qualified human resources in this field remains limited. Therefore, developing specialized training programs in integrated circuit design is a key factor for Vietnam's semiconductor industry to thrive in the region and the world .

The benefits of this course extend beyond providing theoretical knowledge; it also allows students to access the most advanced digital integrated circuit design technologies and tools in the industry. Students will be equipped with practical skills ranging from writing design specifications to testing and optimizing digital integrated circuits.

Mr. Le Hai Anh, Director of Dolphin Technology Vietnam, believes that the "Digital Integrated Circuit Design Training Program" will help students access the most advanced semiconductor technologies.

"With Vietnam's strong investment in semiconductor chip design, manufacturing, and testing, the demand for human resources will increase sharply in the coming years, especially with the goal of building a workforce of 50,000 semiconductor engineers by 2030."

"This presents a wide range of career opportunities for students participating in the Digital Integrated Circuit Design Training Program. From joining international corporations to developing careers in domestic integrated circuit design companies, or even starting their own businesses with innovations in semiconductor technology," said Mr. Hai Anh.
