At the opening ceremony, delegates heard the announcement of the decisions: establishing the Essay Marking Board; establishing the Examination Council Secretariat; deciding to inspect and deploy the inspection plan for the marking work. At the same time, the Examination Council also deployed the marking plan for the Literature subject - the only essay subject in the exam.
In the 2025 high school graduation exam, the whole province has a total of more than 39,300 exams belonging to the two general education programs (GDPT) 2006 and 2018; of which there are 9,835 exams in Literature and more than 29,400 exams in multiple-choice subjects. The Department of Education and Training has established two exam marking boards corresponding to the two GDPT programs, mobilizing more than 200 officials and teachers to participate in the exam marking and checking stages.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The high school graduation exam not only directly affects the interests of thousands of students but also reflects the quality of education in the whole province. Therefore, the Examination Council, the Examination Board, the officers in charge of marking the exam and related units need to focus highly, organize the marking seriously, in accordance with regulations, ensuring objectivity, accuracy and fairness.
He requested the Department of Education and Training to continue to fully understand the regulations and organize professional training for officials and teachers participating in marking the exams; at the same time, ensure the material conditions, safety and absolute confidentiality during the entire marking process. For officials and teachers marking the exams, it is necessary to enhance their sense of responsibility, carry out the marking according to the instructions; if any unusual situation arises, they must promptly report it for handling according to regulations. In addition, the Provincial Inspectorate and the Provincial Police need to strengthen coordination with the Department of Education and Training to implement the inspection and examination plan of the marking work, ensuring compliance with regulations; properly implement the proposed plan and plan to ensure good security and safety during the marking process.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his belief that, with close direction, effective coordination and a serious working spirit, the province's exam marking work will be carried out on schedule and in accordance with regulations, contributing significantly to the overall success of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Department of Education and Training organized a training course on essay marking for the High School Graduation Exam for more than 160 officials and teachers directly marking the exam, to disseminate the regulations and rules of marking the exam and new points in the exam marking work in 2025.
According to the plan, the exam marking period will take place from July 1 to July 9, 2025; the stages of scoring, completing the result reconciliation and announcing the exam results will be completed before July 16, 2025.
