Opening Ceremony of the "Popular AI Learning" Program for Core Personnel

Overview of the Conference

Attending the conference were Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments and agencies; and 300 key officials representing localities and socio-political organizations in the province.

During the program, core participants received an overview of modern artificial intelligence (AI); the importance of developing digital capabilities and using AI tools in the era of Industry 4.0; and an introduction to the content, objectives, and implementation activities of the "AI Learning for the People" program in Thai Nguyen province for the period 2024-2025. Simultaneously, lecturers and technology experts guided participants through the registration process and daily learning and practice sessions on the LuyenAI.vn system; and provided information on learning tools and supporting materials for students.

The core workforce is guided on how to regularly train in AI, making AI an effective tool to support their work and spreading its benefits to the community.

The program's implementation will contribute to creating opportunities for all segments of the population to access basic knowledge about AI and its applications in various aspects of life, research, learning, production, and business; encourage and promote the participation of local organizations and individuals in the digital transformation process and the development of digital capabilities; and create a foundation for subsequent training courses on the use of AI tools, helping to enhance the digital capabilities of the people, especially those groups without a technological background.

Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, expressed confidence that the core force will successfully spread AI to the community.

Speaking at the conference, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Huy Dung, emphasized the significance of the "Popular Education for the Digital Age" movement, which has been launched and implemented nationwide, and the "Popular Education for AI - AI in the Tea Region" movement in Thai Nguyen. He commended the departments, agencies, organizations, and individuals for successfully disseminating AI knowledge to 10,000 people in the province within 55 days and nights, a very proud achievement. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also provided information on the socio -economic development situation in the first quarter of 2025, especially the impact of the global political and economic situation on the province's economic growth; and stressed that more than ever, localities, including Thai Nguyen, need to leverage their endogenous capabilities to improve labor productivity. In this context, implementing the "Popular Education for AI" program for the workforce is a crucial factor that needs to be prioritized. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed confidence that the 300 core officials will spread the AI ​​learning movement to the community, especially citizens of working age, with the goal of reaching 400,000 people before April 30, 2025.
