Opening of the Phieng Pan Commune Youth Men's Football Tournament

On August 19, Phieng Pan commune held the opening ceremony of the 1st Youth Men's Football Tournament in 2025, welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; 80 years of the successful August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The tournament gathered 20 teams with 280 athletes who are cadres, soldiers, teachers, youth union members from schools, agencies and villages of Phieng Pan commune, attracting a large number of cheering people. The teams competed in a round robin to calculate points, selecting the 2 teams with the highest scores to enter the final. The tournament took place over 11 days (August 19-29). Right after the opening ceremony, the matches brought many beautiful and exciting football moves.

The youth football tournament is a useful sports activity, aiming to promote the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", creating a healthy playground, improving health for people in the commune.
