Opening of the Youth Creative Technical Sports Festival of Military Hospital 103

On October 15, in Hanoi , Military Hospital 103 (Military Medical Academy) organized the Opening Ceremony of the Hospital Youth Creative Technical Sports Festival 2024 with the theme "Youth pioneers in innovation, applying new techniques in diagnosis and treatment".

Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Cong Thuc, Director of Military Hospital 103, delivered the opening speech of the Sports Festival.

In his opening speech, Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Cong Thuc, Director of Military Hospital 103, said that the Sports Festival is one of the scientific and technological research activities that the Party Committee and the Hospital's Board of Directors pay special attention to, encourage and create all conditions for young cadres to participate in research, innovation and application of new techniques in clinical practice.

“103 Military Hospital is a practice facility of the Military Medical Academy, performing many important tasks assigned by the Military Medical Academy: Training doctors and medical experts; medical examination and treatment for soldiers and people and scientific research. The hospital always focuses on creative research and application of new techniques associated with the development of the hospital. Therefore, the Hospital's youth creative technical sports festival is a regular and practical activity that combines the development of the young team with the development of new techniques to increasingly better serve the medical examination and treatment as well as scientific research of the hospital…” – Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Cong Thuc emphasized.

Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Nam, Deputy Commissar of the Military Medical Academy, spoke at the ceremony.

The 2024 Youth Creative Technical Competition of Military Hospital 103 has a total of 38 techniques in all clinical and paraclinical fields (15 techniques in Internal Medicine, 15 techniques in Surgery and 8 techniques in Paraclinical) in all specialties. This is the year with the largest number of techniques participating in the competition of the Hospital so far.

Accordingly, the techniques are all carefully screened and selected from the units. Therefore, there will be many new and creative techniques that are both scientifically meaningful and practically valuable, contributing positively to the care, diagnosis and treatment of patients; as well as many new research directions will be developed from these innovations of the hospital's young staff.

It is known that through the Youth Creative Technical Sports Festival, the Hospital will select excellent technicians to participate in the Creative Technical Sports Festival of all levels such as: Ministry of National Defense, Hanoi City, consider registering technical initiatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology...

In 2023, Military Hospital 103 had 18 new techniques participating in competitions at all levels, 9 techniques won prizes at the Hanoi Regional Medical Technical Creativity Sports Festival (04 First prizes, 04 Third prizes, 01 Encouragement prize), received the Emulation Flag as the 2nd excellent unit in the entire City delegation.

Participating in the 24th Youth Creative Competition in the Army, 103 Military Hospital achieved high results, including 1 First Prize, 1 Third Prize... thereby demonstrating the determination and efforts of the Hospital's young team who are always working, researching, and developing new techniques, bringing many high achievements to the Hospital.
