Opening Ceremony of the "Tam Ky" Festival

Attending the opening ceremony were Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Thai Binh ; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Nam Hung; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Huynh Thi Thuy Dung; Secretary of the Tam Ky City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, along with a large number of Tam Ky residents and tourists.

In his opening remarks, the Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tam Ky City, Nguyen Minh Nam, emphasized that, continuing the series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Tam Ky City and Quang Nam province, and in preparation for the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), in the peaceful and poetic setting of Huong Tra Eco-village, Tam Ky City is organizing the opening ceremony of the "Tam Ky - Sưa Flower Season 2025" festival with the theme "Brilliant Golden Flower Colors".

This is an important annual cultural and tourism event of the city aimed at promoting the image of Tam Ky's land and people to friends both domestically and internationally. In addition, it is an opportunity to honor and spread the beauty of the golden crape myrtle flower – a characteristic flower and heritage tree of the Tam Ky region.

Tam Ky is a land where mountains, rivers, and the efforts of generations have converged and crystallized. Every April, the golden crape myrtle trees bloom simultaneously, their golden blossoms lining the city's streets and blending together to create a magical landscape.

Particularly at Huong Tra Eco-village, rows of centuries-old golden crape myrtle trees stretch out, blooming together in a riot of golden hues, creating a smooth, golden-orange silk ribbon reflected on the emerald green Tam Ky River!

Mentioning Tam Ky brings to mind not only the land of three mountains and three rivers, along with its gentle, hospitable, and kind-hearted people, but also the beloved name "City of Golden Sưa Flowers".

With its unique beauty and value, the crape myrtle flower has entered poetry; in particular, along with the landscape of rivers and mountains, it has been chosen as the symbol of Tam Ky City; the crape myrtle flower is chosen to express the spirit of "The mountains and rivers bloom with flowers".

Immediately following the opening ceremony, an art program with the theme "Golden Flower Colors" took place.

Many songs praising the homeland, the country, the beauty of Quang Nam province and the beloved Tam Ky were performed by singers Thanh Yen, Le Trong Hieu, Huu Duc, La Trinh, Xuan Ly, Sy Nguyen, My Hoan, Diem Phuc, and Le Van, along with performances by the Dai Ngan Band, the Anh Pham Ao Dai Designer Model Group, the Sac Viet Dance Troupe, and especially the artistic paragliding performance from the Tropical Forest Da Nang Paragliding Team, leaving many emotions for the viewers.
