Attending the opening ceremony of the 17th National Radio Festival, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Trinh Van Quyet, emphasized that this event has great significance. The theme of this year's festival reflects the determination and commitment of the Vietnamese radio industry to the country's development. This is not only a message for action but also a profound political requirement for the entire industry, demanding that the Vietnamese radio industry contribute to strengthening the nation's inherent strength – the strength of faith, will, and national unity; and must accompany socio-economic development, disseminate knowledge, promote innovation, and encourage the aspirations of every citizen and every enterprise.

The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department stated that the Vietnamese broadcasting industry needs to make a significant contribution to realizing that aspiration by spreading positive values, arousing patriotism, self-reliance, and self-improvement; encouraging innovation, and promoting rapid and sustainable national development.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Do Tien Sy, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and Director General of the Voice of Vietnam Radio , stated that this year's festival, with nearly 100 high-quality podcast works, has affirmed the powerful ability of audio to reach audiences across multiple platforms and has become a main category of the festival, demonstrating the determination of the Vietnamese broadcasting industry to proactively adapt, innovate, and integrate. "Podcast - A Creative Boulevard in the Digital Age" is the theme of the international conference, bringing together more than 500 leading experts from abroad and domestically, becoming one of the most prominent highlights of this year's festival.

Mr. Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, also stated that this is a large-scale professional event of the Vietnamese broadcasting industry, bringing together numerous press, radio, and television agencies nationwide. As the host province, Quang Ninh not only co-organized the event but also contributed to creating a cultural and media space rich in identity, thereby spreading the image of a dynamic, modern, and rapidly transforming locality. "The Sound of the New Era" is defined as a concert that blends heritage and modernity, reflecting the innovative spirit in the approach to political and artistic content of the Voice of Vietnam Radio and Quang Ninh province.
The 17th National Radio Festival, held from April 11-13, received enthusiastic participation from 34 newspapers and radio and television stations nationwide, 2 major press centers (the Military Radio and Television Center and the Public Security Communication Department), 17 media units of the Voice of Vietnam, and 8 major media units participating in the podcast category.
