Attending the opening ceremony were leaders of the Center for Research and Preservation of Vietnamese Cultural Beliefs; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; leaders of Tuyen Quang city, along with a large number of people, tourists and artisans from Tuyen Quang, Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Cao Bang, and Hai Duong.
The practice of worshipping the Mother Goddesses of the Three Realms has been recognized by the United NationsEducational , Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This is a unique form of folk performance with a harmonious combination of artistic elements.
The festival is an opportunity for artisans from all over the country to gather in Tuyen Quang to offer gifts, celebrate, meet, and exchange in a spirit of solidarity, contributing to preserving and promoting the value of heritage in the community. The festival will last until March 23.
