Closing of the training course on applying artificial intelligence in multimedia journalism

On the afternoon of September 30, the Provincial Journalists Association held the closing ceremony of the training course on “Application of artificial intelligence (AI) in multimedia journalism”. Attending the closing ceremony were comrade Mai Duc Thong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television, and Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association.

During the 2 days, 50 trainees who are reporters and editors from press agencies in the Provincial Journalists Association were taught a lot of knowledge and practical skills by lecturer Luong Dong Son, Academy of Journalism and Communication: Building and using prompts effectively; applying AI in research, editing, verifying information, fighting fake news; producing illustrations, infographics, voiceovers and podcasts using AI tools; and discussing issues of ethics and responsibility when using AI in journalism.

In his closing speech, Mr. Mai Duc Thong, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, hoped that each student would apply the knowledge and skills they have been equipped with into their practical work, contributing to improving the quality of journalistic works, meeting the requirements of innovation in the digital age. The Provincial Journalists Association would like to thank the Vietnam Journalists Association Training Center and lecturer Luong Dong Son for their enthusiastic teaching, bringing the course a lot of useful and practical knowledge.
