Opening of the 2025 Stage Script Writing Camp in Tam Dao: A place where talents and aspirations converge

On the morning of October 10, in Tam Dao town ( Phu Tho province), the Vietnam Stage Artists Association solemnly opened the 2025 Stage Script Writing Camp, with the participation of 15 outstanding authors from both the North and the South.

This is an annual activity to inspire creativity, search for new scripts with artistic value and the breath of the times for Vietnamese theater. A gathering place for talented writers. This year's creative camp brings together familiar and prestigious faces in the theater world such as Le Thu Hanh, Nguyen Thu Phuong, Nguyen Toan Thang, Tran Kim Khoi, Vu Thu Phong, Ngoc Truc, Pham Van Dang, People's Artist Lan Huong, Tran My Dung, Minh Nguyet, Co Chien ...

Each author brings to Tam Dao many new and passionate scripts, contributing to renewing the stage life in a period of strong transformation. In his opening speech, People's Artist Giang Manh Ha - Vice President of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association - emphasized: "The creative camp is not only a place to nurture ideas, but also a forum connecting generations of authors. In the context that the stage is in need of breakthroughs in content, themes and forms of expression, investing in scripts is investing in the future of the country's stage".

According to him, 2025 is an important milestone when the Vietnamese stage is aiming to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day and prepares to send to professional art units nationwide to stage. Therefore, authors need to grasp the spirit of the times, truly reflect the issues of contemporary society with a new artistic language rich in humanity. People's Artist Le Chuc, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association, shared passionately: "Every success of the stage starts from a good script. We hope that from this creative camp, works that breathe life, have the power to move and affirm the identity of Vietnamese stage in the integration period will appear."

He also emphasized that the role of today's writer is not only to tell stories, but also to know how to "ask questions" for the times - so that the stage can truly become a place of dialogue between art and life.
