The last time Rhymastic used this stage name was 5 years ago. The rapper's return with the stage name YC, at a time when he was gaining popularity as a mature and composed artist, quickly attracted the attention of the audience.
In a previous post, Rhymastic hinted that his current stagnant career "has become too boring" and that YC is returning to bring "pure hip hop back."
Recently, Rhymastic has spent a lot of time with his family, gaining popularity as a judge on Rap Viet and participating in the show "Brother Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles". YC's return reflects his inner struggle, as the rapper had to choose between public recognition and personal creative freedom.
Amidst the heated debate surrounding the boundaries between the underground and mainstream Vietnamese rap scene, YC's return is seen as a breath of fresh air in a new body. If Rhymastic represents reason and standards, then YC embodies instinct and rebellion.

However, the rapper's new rap song, titled "So What?" , has received mixed reviews. Some viewers praised his skillful wordplay and rhyming, while others felt the song was too "tame" compared to the edginess often seen in rap.
In a conversation with a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper in 2024, when asked whether he made music to satisfy himself or to satisfy the audience's needs, Rhymastic shared: "I think the latter will still require a combination of both elements. A product should strive to be loved by as many listeners as possible."
When I first started my career, my perspective was limited. At that time, my main goal was to create the best works according to my own ideas. However, my worldview lacked depth, so I couldn't yet understand what the best was. Over time, I've significantly improved my musical thinking."
YC (or Young Crizzal) is another stage name of Rhymastic, representing his youthful and somewhat rebellious personality, which has appeared in edgy songs or in "beef" (rap debates and battles).
YC is closely associated with a part of Rhymastic's youth. However, sometimes the rapper still "transforms" into YC when composing and rapping, to "allow himself to fully express his personality, to say everything he wants to say."
Rhymastic, born in 1991, has many hit songs such as "Yêu 5," "Nến và hoa," "Lặng," "Cứ chill thôi," etc. Recently, the rapper attracted attention when he participated in "Anh trai vượt ngàn chông gai ," showcasing his versatility as an artist who not only raps but also sings and dances, always full of creative ideas in each round of the competition.
