Opening of a playground for children at Lam Dong II Hospital

(LĐ online) - The playground for children at Lam Dong II Hospital has just been built and put into use, contributing to creating a healthy and useful living and playing space and taking care of children's mental health during the treatment process.

On May 31, Lam Dong II Hospital announced that, stemming from the hearts of the doctors, the Quality Management Department and the Hospital Youth Union have coordinated with sponsors to organize the opening ceremony of a playground for children at the Pediatrics Department (Lam Dong II Hospital).

The coloring and drawing space at the playground is enjoyed by children.

This playground is built on an area of ​​about 50 square meters. Here, the playground space is equipped with light physical games, a reading area, a coloring corner, drawing and intellectual interactive activities suitable for many ages of children. Thereby, creating a friendly, safe and healthy playground to help sick children forget the pain of illness, nurturing their spirit, intelligence and faith in life.

This is also a meaningful project that provides more encouragement for doctors, nurses and medical staff to see the bright smiles of children when they have a space to play. Along with that, the playground also helps parents, doctors and nurses to balance the psychology of children during the treatment process at the hospital, helping to improve physical ability and recovery. The total cost of building the playground is about 20 million VND, mobilized by the Social Work Team of the Quality Management Department and the Youth Union of Lam Dong II Hospital to raise funds and materials from sponsors for construction.

According to the representative of the Quality Management Department of Lam Dong II Hospital, in the coming time, the unit will connect with benefactors to mobilize more funds and additional items to make the playground more complete and diverse to better serve the sick children.

Doctors and nurses give gifts to sick children at the opening ceremony of the playground.

On this occasion, Lam Dong II Hospital also coordinated with philanthropists to organize the Children's Day Program on June 1, presenting nearly 60 gifts to children being treated at the hospital.
