Opening of the Press Center serving the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee

The Press Center is responsible for providing official information about the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee under the direction of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to press agencies.

The press center serving the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee, term 2025-2030, officially opened this morning (October 14), at the National Convention Center, Pham Hung Street, Tu Liem Ward, Hanoi City.

The Press Center is responsible for providing official information about the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee under the direction of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to the Central, local and Hanoi press agencies. Along with Decision No. 9499-QD/TU, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee issued the Regulations on organization and operation of the Press Center serving the 18th Congress of the City Party Committee.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Dao Xuan Dung, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Hanoi Party Committee, Director of the Press Center serving the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee, emphasized that Hanoi, with its position and role as the Capital, is the "heart" of the whole country, so the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee not only receives the attention and affection of the people of the Capital but also receives special attention and affection from the people of the whole country.

In order for the necessary information and content of the 18th City Party Congress to reach cadres, party members, people of the capital and people across the country, one of the most important tasks is communication work, press reporters will convey important information of the Congress to the people.

The Press Center of the 18th City Party Congress was established with modern equipment, demonstrating the attention and creation of favorable conditions of the City's leaders for press information work, contributing significantly to providing maximum support to reporters of press agencies in their work, updating information directly, fully, conveniently and most authentically on the activities and atmosphere of the 18th Hanoi City Party Congress, reflecting to the people of the Capital and the whole country.

The Press Center will operate from October 14, 2025 to October 17, 2025 at the National Convention Center. During the Congress, the Center will direct and guide press activities, organize the issuance of press releases after each working session and hold a press conference to announce the Congress results on the afternoon of October 17, 2025.

According to the program, the 18th Congress of Hanoi Party Committee, term 2025-2030, will take place from October 15, 2025 to October 17, 2025 at the National Convention Center, with the participation of 550 delegates representing nearly 500,000 party members of the entire Party Committee. The preparatory session will take place on the afternoon of October 15, 2025, the official session will open on the morning of October 16, 2025, and close on October 17, 2025.
