On the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2025), the exhibition "ASEAN Countries and People" will be held from May 12-22, 2025 at the Nghe An Museum to express the gratitude and respect of the entire nation towards President Ho Chi Minh – the national liberation hero and outstanding cultural figure; and at the same time to promote the image of Nghe An province, Vietnam, and contribute to introducing the image of ASEAN countries and people to domestic and international audiences.
The exhibition showcases approximately 200 outstanding photographs depicting the nature, culture, and people of 10 Southeast Asian countries – reflecting diversity yet unity, distinct yet harmonious colors within the ASEAN community.
This is not only a visual journey to explore different lands, but also an opportunity to demonstrate the spirit of solidarity, cooperation, and sustainable development among countries in the region – values that President Ho Chi Minh always wished for his country and international friends.
The exhibition was directed and organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST) in coordination with the People's Committee of Nghe An province; implemented by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province.
This event is one of the significant highlights in the series of cultural and artistic events celebrating the 2025 National Lotus Village Festival.
