On weekends or holidays throughout the year, if you're worried about the cost, long travel distances, crowds, price gouging, and hours of traffic jams when sightseeing or vacationing outside the province, then traveling within the province is a better option.

According to the Bu Gia Map National Park Management Board, the number of visitors to the park for sightseeing and relaxation from 2022 to the present is approximately 5,000, an increase of about 1,000 compared to the previous year.

To explore the national park, if time is limited, visitors should allocate at least 1.5 days and 1 night. This amount of time is sufficient for sightseeing, experiencing, and exploring many points of interest such as Dak Mai 1 waterfall, Hoa Mai lake, visiting heritage trees, pine hills, and especially immersing oneself in the beautiful and romantic nature of the area. Evenings are the perfect time to organize cultural and artistic exchanges and enjoy the unique dishes of the S'tieng people.

Here are some stunning images of Dak Mai 1 Waterfall and Bu Gia Map National Park:

The first destination for tourists is the provincial-level historical site - Dak Mai 1 Waterfall, located in Bu Nga village, Bu Gia Map commune. This is a pristine and unspoiled tourist area, and one of the ideal check-in spots in Binh Phuoc today.

In the late afternoon, visitors can choose to paddle swan-shaped pedal boats to explore and experience the 2-hectare Hoa Mai Lake, managed by the Bu Gia Map National Park Management Board.

Next to Hoa Mai Lake is the Wildlife Rescue, Conservation and Development Center. This is where the Bu Gia Map National Park Management Board receives individuals of extremely rare and endangered animal groups such as gibbons, slow lorises, and otters (Group 1B) and high-risk groups such as pythons, civets, and turtles (Group 2B) for training, rehabilitation, and nurturing. When conditions are suitable, they will be released back into the natural forest.

The second day will be an exploration and sightseeing tour of Bu Gia Map National Park. The first stop right at the park entrance is a historical site commemorating the resistance war – the final point of the oil pipeline system during the war against the US.

From Forest Ranger Station No. 2, the journey to explore nature begins with a hike down to the Dak Ka, Dak Manh, and Luu Ly streams. Along the route, visitors immerse themselves in the natural forest, passing through various forest habitats, admiring and listening to explanations about rare animal and plant species encountered, such as the langur, the yellow-cheeked gibbon, or trees like rosewood, ebony, and sandalwood. They also get to experience forest trekking skills, wading through streams, and swimming in the water.

Recently, the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Nature and Environment recognized 39 trees under the management of the Bu Gia Map National Park Management Board as Vietnamese heritage trees. This is also an ideal destination for tourists to visit and take souvenir photos.

Besides cars, visitors can also travel by motorbike to explore and visit attractions within Bu Gia Map National Park according to their preferences.
