(CMO) U Minh Ha National Park covers an area of 8,527 hectares, located in four communes: Khanh An and Khanh Lam (U Minh district) and Tran Hoi and Khanh Binh Tay Bac (Tran Van Thoi district). This is a nature reserve belonging to one of the three core zones of the Mui Ca Mau World Biosphere Reserve, with an extremely rich and diverse ecosystem.

U Minh Ha boasts a rare peatland melaleuca forest ecosystem in Vietnam. Statistics show that the park contains approximately 176 plant species belonging to groups such as: melaleuca forest plants, seasonally flooded grasslands, permanently flooded swamps and ponds, and vegetation along canals and ditches… Typical examples include melaleuca trees, palm trees, and various climbing plants, ferns, and other aquatic plants… Particularly noteworthy is the dense carpet of water hyacinth, duckweed, water lettuce, water spinach, reeds, and other interwoven grasses beneath the water surface.
