The program creates opportunities for students aged 10 to 18 nationwide to express their creative perspectives on cultural and social issues, especially traditional cultural values and Vietnamese national identity.
Students enthusiastically participated in learning film making with "Through the lens of children".
Accordingly, students can participate individually or in groups of 3 to 5 members. The groups with the best scripts will be invited to participate in the summer filmmaking training course, where they will experience everything from scriptwriting, directing, acting to filming and post-production.
The program not only helps students improve their filmmaking skills but also creates opportunities for them to learn and gain practical experience from experts in the film industry. Exciting experiential activities such as exploring professional studios, participating in interviews with famous directors and actors, and making short reports will help students develop both professional skills and understanding of culture and history.
In particular, this year the program cooperates with TPD Center for Supporting and Developing Film Talents, giving students the opportunity to experience roles in film crews and learn from artists in the industry.
First held in the US in 1989, the KWN Filmmaking Training Program, organized by Panasonic Corporation, has now become a completely free international playground. In Vietnam, the program has been held since 2006, attracting the participation of nearly 3,000 students with more than 160 videos produced, and many films have reached the international finals.
